The Contribution of Aquaculture Sector in Regional Development of West Bandung District, West Java Province

The aquaculture sector is included in the economic that has a role local development. However, it received less attention from government and business world. This study aims to analyze base non-base sectors of aquaculture, contribution market power commodities development West Bandung District area. methods used this were qualitative quantitative by using purposive sampling method. data was as secondary cross-section time-series 2018-2020. While primary with total 31 respondents for head field cultivators interview questionnaire techniques. analysis Location Quotient, Dynamic Shift Share, Trade Area Capture Pull Factor. results Quotient value 1.81 1.01. means will remain future. Share shows fisheries GRDP changed; 2018-2019, 511.34, 2019-2020 -832.24 which resulted decrease production. Factor show an average TAC 80.717,041> 49.312,14, they can capture trade opportunities other regions.
